THE CHILDREN OF GAZA AND THE WEST BANK ARE SUFFERING

In Gaza and the West Bank, nearly half the population is made up of children — and they have been disproportionately affected at every level. Thousands have been killed or injured. Many have lost limbs, families, and homes. The scale of suffering is almost impossible to comprehend.

Within the first month of the war alone, approximately 700,000 children were displaced, many forced to flee again and again with nowhere safe to go.

Today, the vast majority of the population has been uprooted, leaving children without stability, security, or a sense of home. Basic necessities: food, clean water, and medical care have become scarce. Children face malnutrition, dehydration, and preventable diseases, simply because the systems meant to protect them have collapsed.

And for many, the injuries will last a lifetime.

Thousands of children have suffered amputations and permanent disabilities transforming ordinary childhood moments into daily struggles for survival and independence. But the damage is not only physical. Children in Gaza and the West Bank are growing up surrounded by trauma, loss, fear, and uncertainty shaping their earliest memories. Many have lost parents. Many are living in overcrowded shelters or tents. Many are learning to navigate a world that no longer feels safe.

This is not just a humanitarian crisis. It is a crisis of dignity.

WHY GAZA WALKS MATTERS

The Vulnerable People Project is responding to one of the most urgent and overlooked needs: children who have lost limbs and are now at risk of being left behind for life. Without intervention, these children face a future defined by limitation.

But with a prosthetic limb, everything changes. They can return to school, regain independence, and begin to heal. Most importantly, they are reminded of something the world has too often forgotten: Their lives still matter.

YOU CAN BE PART OF THE HEALING

Right now, there is a narrow window to act. The need is overwhelming, but the solution is within reach. With YOUR help, we can help 400 orphaned children walk again. And in doing so, you can restore hope to children in Gaza and the West Bank.

We must raise $1,250,000 this year to provide 400 orphans with prosthetic limbs. A limb will provide so much more than a way to hold a fork or run...it will provide dignity and hope. It will show some of the world’s most forgotten that they are loved.

Each limb costs about $2,500 to create and fit onto a child. Would you please pitch in and help heal these orphans in Gaza?
